SaD-PhIGgies:

A healthy group of us met yesterday to map out a schedule of events for
the quarter. That schedule is now posted on the SaD-PhIG blog:

	http://camba.ucsd.edu/blog/sadphig/

Our first "real" meeting will involve a discussion of a recent, short
paper by Peter Graff (MIT) and T. Florian Jaeger (Rochester). A link to
the paper is provided on the blog.

We met at 1pm this week, but since several folks have to be elsewhere at
2pm, I suggest we follow Sharon's initial suggestion of trying to gather
at 12:45 or so to leave room for our traditional butt-kicking session in
addition to the plan for the day. (Substantive objections are welcome.)

Finally, we still have two dates with no plan: 10/14 (in two weeks) and
11/25 (right before Thanksgiving). We can leave the latter unplanned,
but bring ideas for 10/14 with you to hash out at our next meeting.

See you in AP&M 1782 -- Sharon calls it the 'Fieldwork' room, but for
while we're using it, I suggest the 'PhIG pen'. :)

-- Eric
