[R-lang] vowel space ellipses

Dear "lngmyers" and Stefan,

I just want to make sure you are aware of the EPLOT function in the emu
package. It gives you several options to plot format ellipses (but 
unfortunately not the kind of axes you would like to plot).

In order to use this, the speech analysis software Emu (available as 
freeware from http://emu.sourceforge.net) have to be installed on your 
computer or in your network. You will also need to install the linkage 
between Emu and R: http://emu.sourceforge.net/emu-splus.shtml. 

You can run the functions from the emu library without using or even 
opening Emu itself, so you doesn't need to be comfortable with this 
software (even if it is worth doing it!). Emu is available for Linux, Mac 
and Windows systems.
