Hi everyone,

We had our first meeting this morning and got through part of the Gopnik
et al. paper.  Our plan for next week's meeting is to finish Gopnik and
also to read the following book chapter, which is a concise introduction
to inference in Bayes Nets:

Also, due to several people's conflict with the Wednesday morning time,
we've shifted the weekly meeting time to Tuesday 7pm-8:30pm, in AP&M 2452.

Finally, start thinking of formalisms/techniques that you'd like to
learn more about and have covered in the reading group, or articles that
cover interesting research in probabilistic cognitive science that you
think might make good readings.
