Visiting Assistant Professor Position in Phonology at New York 
University
   
The Department of Linguistics at New York University invites 
applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor position in Phonology, 
with the subsequent possibility of turning into a permanent position. 
The visiting position will start in September 2005, pending 
administrative and budgetary approval. Applicants should have a strong 
research record and a demonstrated ability to teach. Duties include 
graduate student supervision, teaching two graduate phonology courses, 
an undergraduate phonology course, and a general introductory course at 
the undergraduate level.
   
Candidates should send a letter of application, a curriculum vitae, 
three letters of recommendation, a statement of research interests, and 
a sample of work, to the address below. Candidates who have applied for
