Hello everyone,

The Center for Research in Language (CRL) hosts a weekly Seminar Series on Tuesday afternoons at 4pm, in the CRL conference room (CSB 280). The talks are generally preceded by a "Happy Half Hour" at 3:30 in CSB 215 up the hall. All are welcome! Future talk notifications will be less broadly distributed, so if you'd like to stay up-to-date, please add yourself to the CRL Talks mailing list at:
http://crl.ucsd.edu/mailinglists/

This coming Tuesday, Sept 30 at 4pm, we will be holding an organizational meeting to decide who will be giving the CRL talks for the fall quarter (with truant members at high risk of being volunteered in absentia!). This first meeting should only last until 4:15 or so. If you are interested in giving a talk but cannot attend the organizational meeting, please send me or Vic Ferreira (ferreira at psy.ucsd.edu) a note (replying to this note is fine) with the dates that you would like to give the talk (currently available: Oct 7/14/21/28, Nov 18/25). Please also let us know if you know someone who might be interested in (or could be coerced into) giving a talk. Dates will be handed out on a first-come-first-served basis. We will NOT be holding a Happy Half Hour before the organizational meeting.

Regular talks (and happy hours) will commence the following week, October 7, with weekly notifications sent to talks@crl.ucsd.edu.

Hope to see you there!

Thanks,
