The Department of Linguistics is please to announce Shinichiro Fukuda's 
dissertation defense on Friday, June 19, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in APM 4301. 
His dissertation title is "From words to structure: How syntax can 
affect the distribution and interpretation of verbs and their arguments. 
Three case studies from Japanese."
