Prof. Ovid Tzeng, long time collaborator of ours and of Elizabeth
Bates, will be visiting on October 26th, and will give an informal
talk on his recent directions of research on language (Chinese and
English) and brain organization. He has pioneered a wealth of
studies on Chinese and English languages, has built up a
comprehensive brain imaging site, and is a leading scholar,
particularly known for his extensive analysis of cognitive and memory
systems across languages.

His special lecture will be held on Thursday, October 26th at 4 PM at
The Salk Institute for Biological Studies, the Parker Room, a few
steps up from the foyer and auditorium.

*** The Parker Room is located on the lower level of the North East
Building (Level B1 from the elevator).
If you need assistance finding the lecture, a security guard will
guide you to the North East Building glass door entry, where you can
take the stairs or elevator to the lower level. The Parker Room will
be on your right hand side. There will be signs posted****
