LouAnn Gerken will be giving a talk at the Linguistics Colloquium on Monday, May 22nd and will also be presenting (a different talk) at CRL on Tuesday, May 23rd. She will be on campus both of those days, and would like to take advantage of her time here by meeting with as many people as possible. I'm contacting you to let you know that we're organizing an informal reading group meeting with her on Monday, May 22nd, from 11am to 12pm. We will be discussing one of her articles that appeared in the Journal of Child Language, "Infants can use distributional cues to form syntactic categories." A pdf of the article is attached.
I will send another email announcing the location.
Please feel free to forward this message to anyone I may have missed.
Hope to see you there!
