Hi everyone,

I've put today's slides up on the website, together with a slightly
expanded version of the HMM Viterbi inference example we went through on
the board in class today. Please let me know if there's anything that
needs clarifying (or any mistakes!) in that example writeup, so that I
can fix it.

I'll be out of town as it turns out on February 6, so class is cancelled
for that day. Fortunately I had scheduled in a day of slack :)

Also, I put together a small online (anonymous) feedback poll to help me
get a better sense of how the class could improve, so if you have a
chance it'd be great if you could take 3 minutes and fill it out:

Finally, I've made a couple of small clarifications and suggestions in
the programming homework assignment. I've modified the online PDF
accordingly and the changes appear in magenta (one near the top of page
2, one near the bottom of page 2, and one bit of advice on page 5.

Have a great weekend!

Roger
