Sorry, I think I have been a bit inconsistent in this.  Response  
class, output class, and outcome class are all the same.

The reason there are 121 outcome classes is that there are eleven  
segments, and every possible combination of two segments is a  
logically possible two-segment onset.  11*11=121.  Note that this  
number does not change with the number of parameters in the model.
