Hi all,

I'm sorry for spamming this list!

I think I know most of you, but in case not: I'm a postdoc at the Center
for Research in Language, and Karen Emmorey and I are doing a project
looking at the role of auditory feedback in learning pronunciations. We
are collecting data right now and are looking for someone who has some
training in phonetics, who would be interested in (phonetically) coding
our data. We can pay $12/hour, and, this is kind of a guesstimate, but I
think there will be around 20-25 hours of work in all.

Our coding system is actually quite simple, and I thought I could do it
myself but, it turns out I have a lot of trouble hearing some vowel
distinctions (the 'pronunciations' we're looking at are Hebrew words - a
knowledge of Hebrew is *not* necessary to do this coding. but being able
to distinguish say, monothongs from diphthongs is!).

If you know of anyone who might be interested (or have a suggestion of
where I might be able to find someone), I'd really appreciate it if you
would be willing to put me in touch with them!

Thanks for reading this!
Tanya
