[Lign251] lecture notes

hey all,

A couple of people brought to my attention that the solutions to hw4
were actually in the online lecture notes for a while.  Oops...!  I've
fixed this; please consult the new version as you'll obviously learn
more if you're not consulting the solutions.

Also, you can start reading Chapter 7 on hierarchical models, which is
what we'll spend the coming week on.
